Daily is a personal executive-function assistant for college students. It helps with daily routines, schoolwork planning, schedules, and practice conversations. This policy explains what the app collects, why, and what we do not do with it.
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers. There is no advertising or tracking in this app.

Daily is not open to the public. A device gets access only by entering a one-time setup code issued by the account owner. There is no sign-up form, no password, and no email or phone number is collected to create an account. The setup code is exchanged once for a token stored in the iOS Keychain on that device.
Conversations with the assistant are stored on our server. This is disclosed inside the app before the feature is used, and capture does not begin until that disclosure is accepted. The purpose is to let the account owner improve how the assistant responds and to keep the assistant aware of earlier context.
Conversation text is sent to a third-party AI provider (Anthropic) to generate replies. That provider processes the text to return a response and does not use it to train its models under the terms we operate on. No account identity beyond an internal user number is sent with it.
Safety: the assistant screens messages for indications that someone may be in danger. If that happens the app shows support resources, and may notify the account owner. This exists to protect the user, not to monitor them, and it is described in the app.
If you write or say something about a medication or how you are feeling, it is stored as ordinary free text in your notes, exactly as you wrote it. The app does not have a medication tracker, does not maintain a health record, and does not interpret or act on that text medically. The app is not a medical device and gives no medical advice.
Data is stored on servers in the United States. Information is kept while the account is active. When an account is closed, its data is deleted within 30 days. You can ask for a copy of your information, or ask us to delete it, at any time by writing to [email protected], and we will act on the request within 30 days.
All traffic between the app and our servers uses encrypted connections. Access tokens are stored in the iOS Keychain and are never embedded in the app itself. Access to the server and database is restricted to the operator. No system is perfectly secure, but we treat this information as sensitive and handle it accordingly.
Daily is intended for users aged 13 and older and is set up by an adult account owner. It is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has used the app, contact us and we will delete the information.
If this policy changes in a way that materially affects what is collected or who can see it, the updated policy will be posted here with a new date, and the change will be surfaced in the app.
